German American Klub of Indianapolis Located in German Park, The GAK is a social / cultural club living the rich German heritage of Indy.

GAK hosts German-American events all year including Indy's largest and most Authentic Oktoberfest, Frühlingsfest, and operates the Edelweiss Restaurant.

Sudzfest is today in German Park starting at 4:00 pm! Don't let Mother Nature stop you from attending! The pavilion is covered so all bier, food and music will be under the pavilion! Featuring craft brews from MashCraft, Planetary Brewing, Chilly Water and Oaken Barrel. Plus wines from Buck Creek Winery including Roadhouse Red and Slushies! Playground and bounce house for the kids! Music by Tape Deck! Show your membership card to the GAK and get in free! Kids under 21 are also free! Frühlingsfest kicks off Thursday night at the TGAK Edelweiss Restaurant, and the tapping of the MashCraft-GAK collaboration Frühlingsfest Maibock, with MashCraft Greenwood Braumeister Andrew Castner. Menu and Program are attached--our Frühlings menu in the TGAK Edelweiss Restaurant, as well as our festival karte, are specially designed as spring menus with unique German offerings that represent spring time. Frühlingsfest week is upon us in Indy, and that means Walpurgisnacht on Friday Night. Yes, the The Black Hats Society of Historic Irvington will be bringing the Coven and inviting everyone to take part in Shuttle Dienen Speck, as always.
But if you've not heard the news: Our friday headliner Ice Howl's new album release hit number 1 in sales this week on Band Camp. Our German Park Show will be their second since the album "The Ledger of Timeless Watchers pt2 dropped last week", so we're really looking forward to this show Friday. Come see it with us!
Now, there's lots of serious dark pics of the band out there on socials and the internet, but honestly this smiling pic is how we see them when they're hanging around the Klub--so we're going to post this one. See you Friday!
