October 13 - DSI D.A.D.S. Monthly Meeting tomorrow!

The DSI chapter of Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome will be meeting Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM at George's Neighborhood Grill (6935 Lake Plaza Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46220). DSI D.A.D.S. will pick up the check for your meal and the soft drinks. (Alcoholic drinks are available but you pay for those on your own.) Dr. Macy Pohl, Executive Director of Down Syndrome Indiana, will provide a legislative and policy update ahead of Indiana’s upcoming legislative session. She will discuss Medicaid Waiver services, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and other key issues impacting Hoosiers with disabilities and their families. Dr. Pohl will also highlight the work of the Indiana Disability Alliance, where she represents Down Syndrome Indiana as a founding member of the statewide coalition.

Down Syndrome Indiana D.A.D.S. (Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome) is excited to announce the creation of the DSI DADS Family Enrichment Fund 💙

A core mission of D.A.D.S. is simple and meaningful: to assist and support, through fellowship and action, the fathers and families of individuals with Down syndrome. In support of that mission, this fund provides financial assistance to families who need support accessing enrichment opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome and their families, such as camp, family experiences, fitness classes, and more.

We are proud to offer this opportunity to Down Syndrome Indiana families across the state. Families must live in Indiana and may apply up to one time per year.
