Meet the Board: Matthew Wallace

Meet Matthew Wallace, a member of Center for Global Impact’s Board of Directors!

Matthew brings more than 15 years of experience in international development, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit leadership, with extensive work across Southeast Asia. Throughout his career, he has helped build mission-driven organizations, develop innovative programs, and equip thousands of entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses.

Matthew is passionate about creating opportunities that lead to lasting change. He was drawn to CGI’s holistic approach to equipping women with the skills, support, and opportunities they need to build safe, sustainable futures.

His experience in entrepreneurship, strategic leadership, and program development brings valuable insight to our board, especially as CGI expands opportunities for women to pursue entrepreneurship and financial independence.

We’re grateful for Matthew’s leadership, perspective, and heart for the women and communities we serve! 💙

A skill can open a door. But lasting transformation takes more. ❤️

For the women we serve in Cambodia, the journey toward independence is about more than learning a trade. It’s about building confidence, finding meaningful employment, experiencing a caring community, and discovering new possibilities for the future.

At CGI, we walk alongside women through every stage—from vocational training and real-world experience to holistic support, discipleship, and opportunities for employment or entrepreneurship.

Because the goal isn’t simply a job. It’s a future filled with stability, dignity, and hope.

Swipe through to see how our pathway helps women build lasting independence.

For more than 17 years, Center for Global Impact has been helping open doors to opportunity for women in Cambodia.❤️

Behind every number is a young woman with dreams, determination, and the opportunity to build a different future for herself and her family.

From vocational training to meaningful employment, we’re seeing what happens when women are equipped with the skills, confidence, and support to create lasting change.

And these stories are still being written.

All month, we’ve been talking about what it means to build futures together.

And here’s what we know:

Building a future takes time.

It takes someone willing to teach.
Someone willing to encourage.
Someone willing to create opportunity.
And someone willing to keep showing up.

That’s where you come in.

When you become a monthly partner, your consistent generosity helps CGI consistently walk alongside women and girls as they move toward employment, independence, and hope.

You don’t have to change her whole future today.

You can simply help us keep showing up—month after month.

Join us. She’s Worth It. Every Month. ❤️

What does a safe, sustainable future actually look like?

It looks different for every woman.

For one, it may mean earning a steady income for the first time. For another, starting her own business. For another, being able to provide for her children or make choices about her future with greater confidence.

That’s why our goal isn’t simply graduation.

It’s lasting independence.

We want the women we serve to leave CGI equipped not only with a skill, but with greater opportunity, confidence, and hope for what comes next.

That’s the future we’re working toward—together. ❤️

⛳ It’s Golf for Impact week!

This Friday, friends, businesses, partners, and supporters of CGI will come together at Topgolf Fishers.

To every sponsor who said yes…

To every team joining us…

To every person who shared, donated, invited someone, or helped make this event possible…

Thank you.

This is what Building Futures Together looks like—a community using what we have to create opportunities for women and girls.

We can’t wait to see you Friday!
