Day 14 at the great Indiana State Fair - This was the weather radar at 6:04 am, midway through a 30-minute thunderstorm with brilliant flashes of crackling lightning and rolling thunder. The storm prompted the State Fair to issue a Take Shelter alert for those of us who were already on the fairgrounds. By 6:30 am, the storm had passed, the All Clear had been issued, and the western and northern skies were clearing. The weather was beautiful the rest of the day.

One more day and we'll be done for another year.

Day 14 at the great Indiana State Fair - The afternoon crew members at Infield NE are PCC Keith (Petersburg), PDG Erica (, Petersburg), and DG Brenda (Center Township). They are joined by ILF President Lion John (Zionsville), who was making the rounds to check on our volunteers.

We still have a few open positions for the final day of the 2026 Indiana State Fair.
