I remember when I was younger people would tell me, “You can be anything you want to be.”

Heard a sermon this morning and what he said really stood out.
“How about we be what HE has called us to be.”

Are we really doing what God has called us to do? Or are we trying to push the blueprints of our life onto Jesus instead of listening to the calling he has placed over our lives?

Let that sink in for minute!!!

“For God is not the author of confusion but peace.”

When you’re unsure of which voice to follow or listen to, remember that God brings clarity and peace, not confusion and chaos.

When I read this on my cousins page, it really hit me. A lot of times in the midst of the chaos we forget to sit still and be quiet and wait on God to lead us. He will never lead us astray!!!

Dear One Body Family,

We invite you to join us for a memorial service honoring Junior on Friday, September 25th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

This church family meant the world to Junior. Though he had difficult days, he genuinely loved One Body Ministries and the people who welcomed, supported, and cared for him.

It would mean so much to our family if you would come and celebrate Junior’s life with us. While our hearts are saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace with how Heavenly Father.

THANK YOU ALL for being such an important part of his life.

I was listening to a sermon this morning and this was said:

God has strategy for every situation and a strength for every season.
Then he proceeds to say, Satan knows that if he keeps us filled with enough fear and frustration we won’t be able to hear what God speaks or receive what God says.
-If we can’t hear what God speaks, we can’t hear the strategy that God has for us and the situation we are in
-If we can’t receive what God is doing we won’t be able to receive the strength that God wants to give us

This just really hit me, how many times have we gone through life struggles, situations, hurt etc and kept God out of it and tried to do it on our own. Something tugged at me, if we stay focused on God through it ALL, he will give us the strategy and strength to get through it.
