Does the changing of the leaves have you yearning for hygge and cozy autumn decor? 🍁🍂 Have you been wanting to try a hand-building class to see if its tactile, creative process is for you?

Enter: Clay Pumpkins! 🎃 This two hour hand-building class is $50 per person, during which each student will be guided through the process of creating up to three small hand-built pumpkins! You can customize them to your liking by adding personal touches like jack-o-lantern cut outs or swirly stems.

Y’all booked up our first class time for this before we were able to post on Instagram - so, don’t delay if you’re looking for a fun night out with a finished product that’s all your own! 💛 Pumpkins will be glazed by our studio and ready for pick up three weeks after the class.

Quiet morning ASMR of getting these geese dressed🪿I’ve learned over time that while gorilla glue is great for attaching the magnets, hot glue is the way to go for fabric.

Name something cuter than a ghost in a Halloween costume 👻🐝 These little trick-or-treaters will be joining us at the Cottage Home Block Party on Saturday, October 10th. We only have three (because let’s be so forreal they take forever to make) but we hope they find some spooky (loving) homes and make folks visiting our booth smile 🎃

Raise your hand if you’re ready for cozy soup and sweater season ✋🍁

Picture this: a beautiful tureen sitting in the middle of your dining table keeping soup warm, your friends scooping out second helpings with a handmade ladle into a set of matching handmade bowls. Need a little salt or pepper? That’s there too! Dreamy!! 🤤

In this course students will expand on their fundamental throwing skills by working on consistency/repeated sets and branching into new forms.

Mark your calendars! 🗓️ Registration for Session Five will open 🔜 Saturday, September 26th at noon. Please familiarize yourself with our booking queue system (if you haven’t already!) so that you have the best chance of snagging the class you’re eyeing 👀

🚨 A few important things to note:
1. Our Sunday hybrid class time is changing! It will now be from 4-6:30 PM ⏰
2. The Intermediate Wheel project schedule will be announced soon! Be on the lookout and remember that you can move up to Intermediate (and we encourage it!) if you’ve taken at least two Intro to Wheel classes and feel pretty confident centering and pulling.
3. Intermediate Hand Building will be a ceramic furniture class! 🪑

Week 5 of our 8-week course means one thing: it’s ✨GLAZE WEEK✨ for our intro students! 🎨 This is always such an exciting step in the learning process—it allows students to decorate their unfinished pieces and really personalize their work. The pot will then go through one more kiln firing to become shiny, functional, and ready to take home! 🏡

Say hello to the familiar faces of our incredible staff! 👋 (Minus the owners—you see enough of us—and .x.hirsch_clay, we are coming for your photo next! 📸)
This studio wouldn’t be the same without these warm, welcoming, and hands-on folks. From their technical expertise to their thoughtful instruction, they keep everything running smoothly. We quite literally could not offer such a diverse lineup of classes without them. Thankful is an understatement! 💛
