This personal challenge
will combine my biggest hobby of cycling and my Christian faith in one singular mission to mutually benefit 2 charities: World Bicycle Relief and World Vision. About WBR
World Bicycle Relief (WBR) was founded in the aftermath of the 2004 Asian Tsunami. To date, WBR has delivered over 200,000 bicycles to people who would most benefit, including teachers and health care workers, most of them residing in Africa. These bicycles empower the men and women by providing new economic and social opportunities. About World Vision
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. One of the tools that World Vision uses is to serve as one of WBR’s implementing partners, and connect WBR’s specially designed Buffalo Bike with users on the ground to enable real change in villages in African countries such as Mozambique.
