Approximately 10,380 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2016. Childhood cancer rates have been rising for the past few decades. Did you know that cancer is the second leading cause of death in children (after accidents)? About 1,250 children younger than 15 years old are expected to die from cancer in 2016. More than 40,000 children undergo treatment

for cancer each year. We started this 5K last year in hopes to send around $5,000.00 to Childhood Cancer Research Fund. With amazing and generous people like you we were able to send $8,741.96! That’s not too bad for our first go around.
2016 is our 2nd Annual Knockout Childhood Cancer 5K and we want to more than double what we did last year. We are asking people and businesses to sponsor, donate and/or register to help us reach our goals and help these innocent children beat this ugly disease. All proceeds will go to Childhood Cancer Research Fund.
