Friday night was special.
Not just because we handed out awards…but because we had the opportunity to celebrate growth, leadership, service, and the future of our community.
We recognized young men who have been leading by example, serving others, and continuing to grow into the leaders they’re capable of becoming.
Our keynote speaker, Shawn Taylor, ( ) reminded our young men that your history doesn’t have to be your destiny. That message hit home for a lot of people in the room.
We also had the honor of recognizing Deputy Chief Tom Hurrle of the Beech Grove IN Police Department as an honorary Lifetime Member of BoysIIMen for his commitment to our community and the way he continues to lead with excellence and integrity.
Most importantly, we were able to celebrate these young men in front of their families, mentors, and community supporters.
Moments like this matter. This is why we do what we do. To remind young men of who they can become…even before they fully see it for themselves.
Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and poured into our young men.
