It is an election year, 2026!

This November 2026 election will be a Midterm General Election and for US House of Representative seats and several state level senator and representative and government seats, and local questions (may varies depending on your location - state and district, etc).

The start of this Midterm General Election is called “Midterm Primary Elections” which allows citizens to vote to elect the person they like in their party line. The winner of this Primary Election will be running for the election in the Midterm General Election, which will be on November 3rd of this year.

If you are thinking about voting in this primary election- in Indiana and specifically in Perry Township area, here are a few steps and resources..

All voters must have registered prior to (April 6th) and bring a valid ID at the voting center.

The hours for the early voting for the Primary Election is

City-County Building - starting on April 7th
Perry Township Government Center - starting on April 25th
Early Vote ends on May 4th
Election Day on May 5th

Opening and closing time and days may varies by location but generally around
11:00AM -6:00 PM on Weekdays
10:00 AM-6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday

The actual election day for the primary is on May 5th and the location of the voting centers are listed here.

The Midterm General Election will be on November 3rd, 2026. Voter registration deadline for that will be on October 5th, 2026.
