MEDIAN'S STORY IS A TESTAMENT OF GOD'S ABUNDANT GRACE.
While the world knows nothing about what has been going on in the two English Speaking Regions of Cameroon for 10 years now.
Eight years ago, Median's ( The Unstoppable Lady 1 ) life changed forever as She was shot several times in the face during the crisis in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
The injuries were devastating... You can see in the pictures. This was the most critical moment of her life.
How she survived and recovered from her bullet-scattered face, we can't tell.
This brought her to uncertain moments. Face severely damaged, dreams shaken, and the journey of life became one of the most unimaginable pain and countless challenges one will ever wish to face.
Yet, through the infinite mercy of God, She survived and now tells the story.
In those dark moments when everything felt lost then came someone who stood as a beacon of hope and light to her: Ayah DeHumanitarian of AYAH Foundation
After many years of support came another remarkable moment where she travels to the Continent of Asia for further surgeries to improve on health.
Every scar she carries is a testament not to her suffering, but a flag of survival.
Difficult to breath through her nostrils, eat well, speak normally but God's mercy got her covered.
Now let me properly use her words:
"Every breath I take is proof that adversity does not have the final word. What was meant to destroy me became the very reason I discovered my strength.
Your circumstances do not define your destiny.
Your scars do not diminish your worth.
Your setbacks do not determine your future.
There will be seasons when life tests your endurance, challenges your faith, and pushes you beyond what you thought you could bear. But within every human being lies a reservoir of strength greater than any obstacle.
I stand before you today not as a victim, but as a survivor. Not as a symbol of tragedy, but as living evidence that courage can rise from pain, beauty can emerge from brokenness, and hope can flourish even in the midst of despair.
If my story teaches anything, let it be this:
Never surrender to hopelessness.
Never underestimate the power of faith.
Never allow your wounds to silence your purpose.
I am still here. I am still standing. I am still dreaming. And by God’s grace, my best chapters are yet to be written.
