Kiwanis Club of Northwest Indianapolis The Kiwanis Club of Northwest Indianapolis is comprised of energetic men and women who are passionate about volunteering and helping the community.

The Kiwanis Club of Northwest Indianapolis, founded in 1977, meets Thursday mornings at 7:30AM via ZOOM and in person at New Hope of Indiana, 8450 N Payne Road, Suite 300, Indianapolis, IN 46268 . We welcome people of all ages to join in our efforts. The Kiwanis objects ------
To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life. To encourage the daily living

of the Golden Rule in all human relationships. To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards. To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship. To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service and to build better communities. To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and goodwill.

Last Thursday, Dr. Richard Gunderman presented The Man Who Founded the World’s Largest Health Company: Eli Lilly to the Indianapolis Club and Foundation of Indianapolis. He shared how Eli Lilly became a druggist, colonel, industrialist & philanthropist. "He not only dreamed but rolled up his sleeves and opened his wallet to make his vision a possibility."

Memorial Day is a time to pause and reflect on the lives given in service to our country. Because of them, we're able to live and work with freedoms we often take for granted.

We honor those who gave everything, and we remember the families who carry that loss every day.

As Memorial Day approaches, I invite you to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

An exciting evening at the Indy Ignite game last night with my good friend and fellow Kiwanian Laura Holloway. Thank you to our host, Randi Raff, who arranged for courtside seats. Laura and I are leading an effort to build a relationship with Indy Ignite to include our Central Indiana Key Club Leaders and members. We are new Ignite fans and cheering them on as they hold the MLV National lead with a 22-5 overall record! Go Ignite!!
