We ❤️ Magdalene Comfort Dog & Eternity Comfort Dog!

Hi friends! This Sven, the Executive Director at Foundation for Lutheran Child and Family Services.

When I first started visiting three years ago, I’m not sure Sven knew what to think about me. But with a little persistence, plenty of tail wags, and lots of visits, I think I’ve finally won him over!

One of my favorite things is spending time with the amazing staff and residents here. Seeing their smiles, sharing some comfort, and receiving pets along the way always makes my day.

Sven, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and the care you show to so many people. I know I’m not the only one who appreciates all that you do. LCFS is blessed to have you, and I’m grateful to call you my friend!

Due to unforeseen delays in our move back to our original location, The Sharing Place will remain closed for one additional week.

We will be closed this week and next week as construction is completed and we prepare to welcome you back. We now anticipate reopening on June 15th.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Thank you for your continued support as we work to better serve our community. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The Sharing Place is moving back! To get everything ready for our neighbors, we will be closed the first week of June (June 1st - June 5th). We'll be reopening to serve our neighbors on Monday, June 8th.

Our team was honored to attend this afternoon’s luncheon with The Economic Club of Indiana. Program Manager De’Aundre Williams had the opportunity to connect with Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, former CEO of Feeding America, and Fred Glass, CEO of Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana Inc. It was an inspiring afternoon of leadership, connection, and shared commitment to strengthening communities.
