We had a great group of members representing Local 481 this week at the IBEW Sixth District Progress Meeting. This year’s theme, “Full Throttle Forward,” focused on leadership, momentum, and continuing to push our trade and our Brotherhood ahead, together. ✊

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Sixth District Progress Meeting is officially underway here in Indianapolis!

Local 481 Business Manager Jeff Wheeler had the honor of welcoming brothers and sisters from across the Sixth District to kick off a week of learning, collaboration, and Brotherhood.

We’re excited for the conversations and ideas that will be shared throughout the week, and hope everyone enjoys their time in Indy!

Congrats to the newest graduates! We are proud of all you've accomplished and excited to see what's ahead for you!

We are pleased to present the newest journey-level electrical workers within IBEW Local 481. These 34 have worked tirelessly over the past five plus years to complete our inside wireman apprenticeship program. After successfully passing their completion exams earlier today, they are well on their way to a long and successful career within the union electrical construction industry as members of IBEW Local 481. Congratulations to you all!

The Powering America team of National Electrical Contractors Association - NECA’s ERMCO, Inc. AND IBEW Local 481 is working on a new 6-story, 100-bed patient tower for Westfield Community Hospital in Indiana that will feature an emergency department, intensive care unit (ICU), ambulatory surgery center, and imaging services.
