Did you know Trimedx Foundation offers monthly virtual training programs?

Our “Close the Gap” global initiative aims to bridge the global health disparity accessing quality healthcare technology and services in underserved regions around the world. Providing training to our partners across the globe is a critical part of this initiative, and our monthly virtual training program was introduced in 2025 to bring the training expertise of our supplier partners to technicians at our partner sites in a new way. Each one-hour interactive online session is designed to strengthen the technical confidence of the attendees.

"The week of June 15, Trimedx Foundation launched its inaugural Annual Fund Campaign with a simple message: year-round support creates stronger communities. Here’s what we accomplished together:

-9 new online donors joined our community of supporters during the campaign!
--11 donors celebrated Audra Plopper’s 50th birthday with a gift to the TRIMEDX Foundation — turning a milestone into an opportunity to give back.
Associate payroll giving grew to 9% participation, continuing the positive momentum we’ve been building.
-And associates didn’t just participate — total dollars contributed by TRIMEDX associates increased 5%!

Trimedx Foundation Inaugural Annual Fund a Success

The Trimedx Foundation Board of Directors has established the Gregory M. Ranger Endowed Scholarship for Biomedical Innovation, honoring the visionary leadership and lasting legacy of Greg Ranger, founder of both Trimedx and the Trimedx Foundation. The newly established scholarship is designed to empower individuals and organizations participating in training and educational activities that advance the biomedical field. By supporting initiatives closely aligned with the Trimedx Foundation’s core mission, the fund aims to address critical healthcare technology needs, expand global medical capacity, and foster long-term industry progress. Trimedx Foundation volunteers who hold AAMI credentials can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for volunteer time, providing current and future volunteers with a tangible professional benefit for volunteer work through Trimedx Foundation. For the Foundation it is another meaningful way to recognize the people who give so generously of their time.

Through ACI, AAMI’s credentialing body, volunteer hours are eligible under Category 2: Leadership Roles. CEUs are available immediately, and no additional coursework or cost is required.

At TRIMEDX Foundation, our Close the Gap global initiative was created to bridge the gap of disparity in global health, enabling better access to quality healthcare technology and services in underserved regions around the world by partnering with healthcare organizations, technicians, and global communities to provide critical training, essential medical equipment, and technical expertise.

A critical element of our Close the Gap initiative is the Medical Equipment Blitz held each year at our Mission on the Greens Sponsor Reception. Donations of medical equipment and funds to support the cause help to improve patient outcomes by ensuring healthcare systems are equipped to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality care, regardless of geographic or economic barriers.

At this year’s Mission on the Greens Sponsor Reception we will be continuing with this good work, seeking equipment and donations to benefit three new partners:

At last year's Mission on The Greens Sponsor Reception attendees raised more than $300,000 in equipment in kind, and cash donations to equip three clinics including Bai Bureh Memorial Community Hospital. In May, members of TRIMEDX Foundation, Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach, Bai Bureh Memorial Community Hospital, Evans Medical Center, and the Rashid S. Conteh Memorial Foundation gathered online to bless the container of medical equipment heading for Sierra Leone. The container of equipment is scheduled to be installed by TRIMEDX Foundation volunteers in September of this year. The successful shipment of medical equipment was brought about through the collaboration of many groups, resulting in lifechanging impact to the patients served at Bai Bueh.
