Earlier this week, Elizabeth, Marsha, and Yaniv brought our Know Your Neighbor program to a group of pastors from the Chin community.

This was our second program in partnership with the Chin community. We deeply appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality.

We’re grateful for this growing relationship and look forward to future opportunities to connect and collaborate.

🚨Action alert!! We need you to contact your member of Congress and urge them to support the bipartisan Jewish American Security Act (S. 4576). Congress must act now to strengthen protections for Jewish communities through increased security funding, stronger protections for Jewish students, and new tools to counter antisemitism. The need for action has never been more urgent. Contact your member of Congress today.

Tomorrow is Shavuot -- a day in which we celebrate and reflect on the giving of Torah. Shavuot reminds us of the enduring importance of learning, community, and shared responsibility.

In observance of Shavuot, the JCRC offices will be closed.
Offices will also be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25.

Last night, we gathered at Hooverwood Living for the JCRC’s 2026 Annual Meeting. We welcomed new board members, heard from a distinguished panel of Indiana state legislators, and honored incredible community leaders whose impact continues to be felt across Indianapolis and beyond.

Congratulations to Megan Maurer, recipient of the David M. Cook Award, and to Myron and Myrna Weinberger, recipients of the L’Dor V’Dor Award.

We also recognized and thanked Eli Isaacs for his dedicated service as Board President and wished our graduating Student to Student seniors well as they begin their next chapters.

This past year has been one of meaningful growth for the JCRC. From expanding educational outreach to strengthening relationships across communities, we are proud of what we have accomplished together. While challenges remain, we remain committed to meeting them head-on and continuing to build a stronger future for our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all who support this work throughout the year.
