Gordon is seeking rescue placement and must find placement by 5pm on 10/27, due to continued medical issues that are beyond the shelter abilities.
He has been with us since August and has been losing weight and had multiple tests while in our care.
He is described as super friendly outside but has been seen stressed and hard barking while in the kennels.
We would love to get this guy out of the shelter and into a comfortable spot where he can relax and his medical needs can be further assessed.
Notes from a recent doggy day out: He was an absolute sweetheart during his outing today! He is VERY food motivated and absolutely loved his chicken!
He knows his commands and was a pleasure to hang out with, responding well and approaching interactions with a soft, gentle demeanor.
We visited a Sniff spot where he got to explore and sniff around, then took a walk around town and grabbed some dinner.
He handled the outing wonderfully and was such a good boy throughout the experience.
He has a sweet, easygoing personality and would thrive in a home where he can enjoy the simple things in life, get plenty of affection, food, a comfy bed and be someone’s beloved companion in his golden years.
IACS does not currently have an on-site veterinarian.
Our limited budget is already exhausted and we are unable to provide advanced diagnostics or ongoing medical care in-house.
