Kenn.wav is a 2026 Art & Soul Featured Artist

Kenn.wav is a pianist who moves through sound with intention, groove, and soul. Inspired by artists like D’Angelo, his work emphasizes connection, creating music that invites listeners into a shared experience. A special moment at Gallery 924 this week.

We were honored to host the Percussive Arts Society, a delegation visiting from Indonesia, and representatives from the Indonesian Consulate in Chicago. During their visit, the delegation presented a Kendang Sunda, a traditional Indonesian drum, to the Percussive Arts Society for its collections.

We were honored to host this cultural exchange and celebrate the connections that music and the arts create across communities and around the world.

Follow the divine lights to Gallery 924 on First Friday.

Kyng Rhodes new exhibition, "Let There Be Light" opens June 5 from 6-9 p.m.

Let There Be Light references the phrase from Genesis 1:3 in the King James Bible representing God’s first words in creation to bring light into darkness. In this exhibition, Kyng Rhodes offers an invitation into the artist’s inner world—where faith, thoughts, and interpretations of dreams converge.

Have an idea that’ll make Downtown sparkle all the way? ❄️

The Indy Arts Council is partnering with Downtown Indy Alliance to create artist-driven, holiday-themed pop-up activations in the Wholesale District, courtesy of a grant from the City of Indianapolis’ Cultural Districts program.

We’re seeking artists for window paintings, artist made storefront installations, and a curated DIY holiday decorating kit for local businesses. Participating artists will be paid, with opportunities ranging from $500 to $2,000 plus materials allowances.
