Throwback Thursday. As part of National Volunteer Month this past April, the JD Finish Line Foundation worked with national partner, Feeding America, to help fight hunger everywhere that JD has a footprint. Employees took part in service projects around the country, including:

A service project with Community Share Food Pantry by our Boulder, Colorado team.
A service project with Gleaners Food Bank by our Indianapolis team.
Over 30 other service projects around the country led by our store teams
With these nationwide projects, as a Company, we served over 900 volunteer hours with over 300 volunteers! Thank you to everyone who supported JD Finish Line Foundation and Feeding America’s fight against food insecurity in their communities.

The JD Finish Line Foundation is excited to announce Kasey Jackson as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors plays an essential role in governing the Foundation and guiding its strategy.
Kasey has been with the Company for 20 years and is currently the Director of Customer Care Talent & Team Operations. She’s been on the Board of Directors since September 2024.

Yesterday was a great day. These 6 young people from Success Center At East worked with our amazing partner Nine13sports and their Kids Building Bikes Program. This program teaches the kids hands on mechanics, teamwork and so much more. And for their last day, for all of their hard work, we surprised them with some new kicks for Back to School. We are so proud to be working deep in communities around the country making an impact one smile at a time.

This spring, the JD Finish Line Foundation partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana to build meaningful relationships with youth from the Far Eastside of Indianapolis. The Far Eastside community has the largest discrepancy in Indiana between children wanting mentorship and mentors available. From April 2 to May 21, BBBSCI organized one of their 8-week Group Mentoring cohorts at JD Finish Line to engage students while they waited for a “Big”. Each Wednesday evening, for 1.5 hours, 15 employees engaged in conversation and small group activities, providing an opportunity to serve as positive role models for young men and women in the community surrounding Customer Central.

Additionally, in collaboration with another organization, New Shoe Day, BBBSCI students learned about essential health and wellness habits and were given new sneakers from the JD Finish Line Foundation. Thank you to the JD employees who volunteered to invest in these young students!

Our "Louder Than Words" grants serve as part of JD Finish Line's "Louder Than Words" platform and our goal to support diverse and underserved communities.

Last week JD Sports had the honor of hosting these young women from Girls, Inc Indianapolis. The women of JD shared and learned along side our girls from Girls Inc through panel discussions, networking, and leadership discussions. Both sides of this amazing partnership left with extra knowledge and tons of smiles and inspiration. We are such a proud partner of the work of Girls, Inc!

Recently our JD Finish Line team in Boulder Colorado hosted the "Youth of the Year" honorees from Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. 40 Club level honorees were awarded a pair of Nike Air Force 1's. Later 4 City Level Award winners received a $500 shopping spree! The 4 award winners then hopped in a limo and went to Texas Roadhouse for their accomplishments! Recently JD Finish Line was honored to host 25 young men and women from 100 Black Men Of America, Inc.. JD Finish Line employees shared experiences about leadership, mental health, and what it means to be a part of JD Sports. Days like these are so inspiring for everyone.
