Black Maternal Health is not just a statistic… it’s personal.
At The MaryJane Foundation, we’re speaking on the reality that Black women are still being unheard, overlooked, and underserved during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
We deserve to feel safe bringing life into this world. We deserve to be listened to the first time we say something feels wrong. We deserve support before, during, and after birth.
This is why advocacy matters. This is why doulas matter. This is why community matters.
In cities like ours, where maternal health disparities continue to rise, we cannot afford silence. We have to show up informed, present, and ready to stand in the gap for our people.
Black mothers should not have to fight to survive childbirth.
We see you. We hear you. We stand with you.
