Mary found safe housing at Coburn Place after becoming homeless because of domestic violence.

In addition to living rent- and utility-free, Mary was able access therapy, build her savings and work on improving her credit history at Coburn Place.

After overcoming so many obstacles, sheโ€™s moving into her dream apartment. Sheโ€™s moving into her own safe home!

This is what your support does. Because of you, survivors like Mary can heal from the trauma of homelessness and domestic violence, and begin the next chapter of their lives with confidence. Thank you for believing that everybody deserves a safe home. ๐Ÿ’œ

Riley spent years curating her dream home, only to lose it all in a moment when her boyfriend had a violent outburst.

But thankfully, because of you and supporters like you, Coburn Place had an open apartment ready for Riley filled with furniture, decor, art and love.

"I may never meet the people who donated or chose the artwork in my apartment, but I want them to know that it mattered more than they'll ever understand. It made me feel like a person again."

Our Childrenโ€™s Services Coordinator, Ms. Teia Sherrell, recently celebrated her 20th anniversary of service at Coburn Place with a luau! (Teia in rainbow colors.)

Teia has been a steadfast advocate for thousands of children at Coburn Place, creating opportunities for growth, learning, healing and joy. She works tirelessly to ensure every child who comes through our doors has enriching experiences, feels supported and has the chance to just be a kid.

For children and families escaping domestic violence, those moments of normalcy can be life-changing. Teia has helped create countless memories and made a lasting impact on generations of children who have called Coburn Place home.

Thank you, Teia, for 20 years of compassion, memories and unwavering service to our mission. Your work has touched more lives than can be counted. We are so grateful that you are here! ๐Ÿ’œ

Please join us in congratulating Teia on this remarkable anniversary!

Also, the luau was incredibly fun!
