Safe to say… the Spring Festival was a total success. Kids were sticky from cotton candy, parents were into the games and raffles, and nobody wanted to leave the bounce houses. 😂

Between Kona Ice, games, the human slot machine, bounce houses, and nonstop family fun, there were smiles everywhere you looked tonight. It was so special seeing our school and playground filled with laughter, chaos, sugar, and happy memories.

Thank you for showing up, supporting our fundraisers all year long, and being such an important part of our CY family. Events like this don’t happen without all of YOU.

We look forward to this event every single year and loved making these memories together tonight 🦁

Last week was ToTaLlY all that and and bag of chips at Clinton Young as we celebrated Staff Appreciation Week 90s style!

Our PTO made sure the teachers and staff were feelin’ fly all week with breakfast or lunch each day. From drinks and treats to delicious meals, we loved spoiling the people who keep our school running like a well-rewound VHS tape.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors and donors for the donations and support. Huggies and PTO Today were so kind to donate wipes for the 1st and 2nd grade classes. You all came through bigger than a Blockbuster on a Friday night and helped make the week extra special!

And to our teachers and staff… you are the real rockstars. Thank you for showing up every day for our students with patience, heart, and enough energy to survive a room full of happy kids before 9am. That deserves a platinum album honestly.

This week was da bomb dot com and we hope you felt all the love because you deserve it. No diggity, no doubt!

Our Spring Festival is just around the corner on Friday, May 15th, from 5:15–7:30 PM!

Flyers were sent home yesterday. Be sure to check your child’s backpack for details. You can return the form with cash or purchase wristbands online to get the discounted $1 per person pre-sale price ($3 at the door).

🌭 Check out the menu in the comments to see what food will be available that night, and don’t forget—Kona Ice will be there too!

We need volunteers to make this event a success!
If you’re able to help, please consider signing up for a shift:
• Shift 1: 5:15–6:30
• Shift 2: 6:30–7:45
Even helping for one shift makes a huge difference! Please send me a message if you’re interested.

🎁 Our raffle baskets are coming together and are going to be AMAZING—you won’t want to miss them! Check out the pictures below for a sneak peek of more baskets that will be available.
🎟️ Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

We’re looking forward to a fun-filled evening with games, food, bounce houses, raffles, and more. We can’t wait to see you there!

The PTO is excited to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff during Staff Appreciation Week! This year, we’re throwing it back with a totally rad 90s theme as we show our appreciation for all they do throughout the year. Flyers with all the details were sent home with students today.

Students are invited to join the fun by participating in our optional dress-up days:
🕶️ Monday, 5/4
Accessorize with scrunchies, sunglasses, and bright jewelry!

🏃 Tuesday, 5/5
Dress like it’s a 90s workout video—bright athletic wear and headbands!

📼 Wednesday, 5/6
Throwback Wednesday – dress in fun 90s-themed outfits (think neon colors and bold patterns)!

🎨 Thursday, 5/7
Wear tie-dye to show your colorful appreciation!

🎉 Friday, 5/8
Rock your school spirit gear and celebrate our awesome staff!

Participation is completely optional. Students can join in as much or as little as they’d like. Please help your child choose outfits that are comfortable and school-appropriate.

We look forward to a fun week celebrating our incredible staff—thank you for helping us make them feel appreciated!

Big congratulations to Miss Smith’s 1st Grade Class! 🦁🍫

During the recent chocolate fundraiser, this amazing group of Lions went all in and sold a whopping $1,700 worth of chocolate, earning the title of top selling class!
To celebrate their hard work, the class won a pizza party, and they got to enjoy every slice together. Nothing beats pizza after a job well done!

Way to go, Lions! Your teamwork and effort really paid off. 🎉🍕

Tomorrow is the last day for students to receive a box of chocolate for the fundraiser. We only have a few cases left, so don’t wait!
If your child would like to participate or needs one more box, please make sure their permission form and/or payment is turned in right away.

📅 All fundraiser money is due on Tuesday, February 17th.
💰 Balances must be paid in full in order to qualify for prizes.
