Join us in celebrating the life of Liz Weber — beloved co-founder of Muir Valley.

On Saturday, June 6 at 4 PM, Muir Valley will dedicate a wildflower meadow along Smokey Fork Creek, one of Liz’s favorite places in the valley. Wildflower seeds will be provided for guests to spread in her memory, and you’re welcome to bring your own.

Afterwards, from 5pm on, we’ll gather at the Muir Valley pavilion located in the main parking lot to share stories, memories, Miguel’s Pizza, and Ale-8 with the community Liz loved so deeply.

Many climbers first met Liz through her cheerful “Welcome to Muir” and the care she poured into this place for decades. Her kindness, hard work, and love for people helped shape Muir Valley into what it is today.

All who knew and loved Liz are welcome.

Board Members Tressie Fife, Mike Duffy, and Paul Foltz and Land Management Committee Member Brandon Gabriel judged at the 2026 USAC Division 6 Youth Bouldering Championship today, hosted at North Mass Boulder. The skill of these youth never ceases to amaze us, topping out of boulders we would likely crash on. Bravo to the youth competing today! Congrats on your accomplishments making it this far. And congrats and good luck to the youth who are moving onto tomorrow’s finals! Thank you northmassboulder for hosting!

North Mass Boulder is looking for volunteers to judge this weekends Division 6 Finals Youth Bouldering Comp!

We would love to fill the gym with ICC members sporting our merch and supporting youth climbers!
