Wanda’s bucket list has been completed - with a trip to Eagle Creek and a visit to auntie Laurie’s house. She was SO happy and has truly had a great week.

She will be crossing the rainbow bridge tomorrow at home. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts ❤️‍🩹

Alex Palou Update:

Yesterday was tough. He, again, refused to come inside multiple times.

Today we’re turning a new leaf. His foster siblings led him inside, without human intervention. We are super hopeful that doggie friends will help his confidence.

He’s also settling on the couch more and more often — there’s less pacing from door-to-door.

We’re far from where we’d like to be, but we’re making progress. Thank you for following along!

Good Morning and Happy $5 Friday!

It's not deja vu, we are fundraising once again for Hardy's CT scan and double TECA surgery.

Thanks to wonderful supporters, we have currently raised $2K of his CT scan (up to $2,000) and the surgical procedure ($6,000).

His CT scan is being done at Franklin, and the complicated surgery will be done at Stauffer Vet Surgical. The procedure is going to be very complex, and we needed to find someone with specialized knowledge.

Please help us cover the gap if you are able, any amount is super appreciated. This is Hardy's last big need, and it will result in a pain free life. He takes daily medication and his ears hurt all the time currently.

A letter from Belle, recovering from her spay yesterday.

Dear Lucci’s House,

I’m glad you rescued me but I’m really mad you put me with this lady who makes me wear these awful cones. I broke the one the vet gave me and I figured that was that. But no, this lady has another one 🙄😩

I don’t care that much about the cone anymore until she makes me go to my room by myself while my brothers are out, that’s when I’m hulk smashing it til I get it off. 🤣
