Indy Modern Quilt Guild The Indy Modern Quilt Guild is the Indianapolis area chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild.

We are group that provides education and sharing of ideas in relation to modern quilting. We also have quarterly charity quilting days supporting local organization.

Every month we do a Block Lotto at meetings. You get as many entries into the Lotto as the number of blocks you submit! Someone will win ALL of these cute Ice Cream Cone Blocks!

June Block Lotto:
Make your ice cream cones with any number of scoops!
Fabric requirements: Unfinished blocks will be 9.5” wide x variable height

White for background
4” x 6” brown or beige for cone
6” x 6” for each scoop of ice cream
2” x 2” red for cherry on top

The Indy MQG June Meeting is early this month: June 14th at 2pm.
This month is a workshop and you will need to bring:

FQ in white/neutral/low volume quilting cotton
Pencil
Optional: Come with an idea for a block you want to carve and bring a printout. Supplied blocks are roughly 3" x 4".
Tip: Search "easy block print carving design" for inspiration

Dress for Mess - We will be using permanent ink!
