🎸What: Weekly small combos + a performance on campus
🎹When: Sundays, 3:00–5:00 PM starting October 4
🎷Where: Lilly Hall at Butler
🎺Who: Musicians with 1+ years of experience on their instrument
🥁Led by: Butler faculty and local professionals (directed by Kent Hickey with guest artist Brian Pattison)

We have exciting news to share! The Camps and Community Programs department and Butler Community Arts School have moved offices. We are now located in Lilly Hall 002. Our space is much larger and includes 12 lesson studios designated for our private lesson program. We are thrilled about this new period of growth for our programs. Best. Summer. Ever! 🌟

Over eight weeks, we brought nearly 40 camp sessions to life across Butler with programs like Discovery Camps, Pre-College Programs, Butler Community Arts School Camps, and Esports Camps.

None of it would be possible without the incredible people who make these experiences happen. Thank you to our campers and their families, counselors, staff, faculty, and the various campus teams for making this summer the best yet.

This week, our Pre-College Program counselors turned camp into a scavenger hunt, hiding across campus in colorful wigs that matched their cohort colors. Campers searched for counselors to collect clues and complete the hunt.

We had THE BEST time ~going analog~ at our annual Pathways Bootcamp, a week-long professional development training for Teaching Artists and summer camp staff. There were many great sessions led by industry professionals, including David Murray, Dr. Lexie Signor, Scott Allen, Seth Allen, Marc Keehmer, McKenna Crews, Emily Dills, Dr. Timothy Raines, Cat Hoelscher, Jules Grable, and the Butler HRC.

Thank you to our presenters, the American Camp Association, and our incredible Camps and Community Programs staff. None of this impactful work is possible without you!
