West Indianapolis Development Corp We believe in keeping West Indy a place where people want to live and work. This is our central goal and everything we do revolves around this belief.

The West Indianapolis Development Corporation (WIDC) was formed by neighborhood residents in 1992 in response to the Harding Street Transportation project and the 1992 West Indianapolis Neighborhood Plan recommendations. WIDC seeks to serve the community through programs that improve housing, business, and the environment. WIDC is governed by a Board of Directors- all of whom live or work in the neighborhood- that oversees the CDC's programs and use or private donations and public funds.

WIDC would like to thank First Merchants Bank for their generous donation and purchase of NAP tax credits. This investment in WIDC contributes to the work that we do to bring affordable housing to West Indy.

We are so grateful for this generous investment in our work and in West Indy. This funding will help us continue supporting our neighbors, as we seek to build a new program for our senior homeowners.
