Environmental racism happens when Black communities are asked to absorb pollution, risk, and disruption so others can profit. That is exactly what is happening here. Martindale-Brightwood did not ask for this project.� We did not consent to it.�And we will not accept it.

In preparation for the upcoming hearing scheduled for February 12th, we are hosting the following events so you can stay informed, join discussions, and be heard!

February 2nd, 6:00 PM: Frederick Douglas Park Community Center – Join us for a public meeting with Metrobloks to address the proposed data center in our community. Metrobloks representation has committed to attending. This presents a prime opportunity for residents to bring questions, comments, and concerns regarding the proposed data center in our neighborhood.

February 10th, 10:00 AM: Press Conference, Martindale-Brightwood Community Development Corp - Join us for a press conference to address our community's serious concerns about the proposed Metrobloks Al data center and next steps in the effort to secure a fair, transparent, and accountable process

February 10th, 6:00 PM: Public Meeting, Polk Stables - Join us to stay informed and learn how you can volunteer to Protect Martindale-Brightwood
