Though Celebration of Life Day, which lands on January 22, was originally instituted to celebrate the children in our lives, it has come to signify all that’s good about being alive. It’s easy to forget sometimes, but we are all fortunate to be here. Take time to celebrate that the good far outweighs the bad in this life. It all starts with gratitude and appreciation for where you are right now, and wherever you hope your dreams take you. Every life is precious, individual, and a huge gift, so take a little extra time today to celebrate it.

The Rainbow Youth Project is delighted to now offer its Empower Peer Support Program in Oklahoma City.

Empower is designed as a peer support program rather than a clinical or mental health therapy group. It creates a safe space for individuals facing similar challenges to come together, share experiences, and express emotions. Participants in these support groups gain insight from one another’s journeys, fostering a sense of empathy and understanding.

The Rainbow Youth Project’s New Beginnings Program is an empowering initiative designed to assist 2SLGBTQ+ youth who are facing challenges such as homelessness or aging out of the foster care system. By focusing on educational opportunities, the program aims to provide a robust foundation for these individuals to build a better life independently. The program offers financial assistance for a variety of vocational training certificate programs including certified nursing assistance, veterinary assistance, welding, coding, medical billing, and other career development programs. 💙
