Congratulations to our 2026 scholarship recipient!

Recipients are judged based on the history of their musical activities and accomplishments, community service activities, and recommendations from music teachers who can attest to their musical abilities, academic performance, reliability, and character.

We want to wish Harvey the best as he prepares his studies at Butler University!

IMB selections for the night will include: The Pathfinder of Panama, Havendance and Take Flight!

🏆Plus we will be announcing the recipient of the 2026 Indianapolis Municipal Band Scholarship!

Indiana might be confused but the Indianapolis Municipal Band is preparing for spring! 🌼

Join us for our first concert of 2026 at the Pike High School Performing Arts Center.

As always admission is free!

The Indianapolis Municipal Band is warming up to get the 2026 concert season started!

Rehearsals begin on February 2nd and we are looking for the following position to be filled: Percussion (mallet player).

We meet at Ben Davis High School at 7:00pm, if you or someone you know would be interested in joining us, please reach out!

We are a week away from our concert on September 29th!

Join us at Ben Davis High School at 6:30pm! This combined concert will feature Ben Davis High School Band and IMB!

IMB will also be performing a piece by Butler University Alumni, Amber Beams

Indianapolis Municipal Band and Ben Davis High School band are joining forces!

Join us on September 29th at 6:30pm for an evening of music!

Ben Davis High School will start the program, followed by IMB and to end the concert both groups will take the stage!

It is sure to be a great evening! IMB will also be performing a piece by local composer and graduate of Butler University, Amber Beams!
