More than 30 years ago, Steve and Kay Carpenter stepped into the unknown, trusting God to lead them as they began serving in Mexico. What followed was a lifetime of friendships, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, and community impact.

As they enjoy retirement, we're celebrating not only what they accomplished, but the countless lives they invested in along the way.

Read about their journey, their legacy, and the simple words that guided them through every season: "But we trust."

Join Us at CMF's Annual Celebration!

On Monday, November 2 at 6:30 PM, we'll gather at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot, Colorado, to celebrate God's work through CMF around the world.

During the evening, we'll honor Steve and Kay Carpenter for their decades of faithful ministry in Mexico, hear stories of lives being transformed through CMF's global ministries, and commission new missionaries preparing to serve overseas.

Whether you've prayed, given, served, or simply followed along with the ministry over the years, we'd love for you to join us for this special evening of worship, storytelling, and celebration.

Register today at cmfi.org/celebration and celebrate God's faithfulness with us.

First they were students at La Ruta. Then they gave their lives to Christ, were baptized and began sharing their faith with others.

This summer, Camila and Paola took another step in their journey, traveling from Uruguay to the Dominican Republic to serve at a Vacation Bible School. From sharing their testimonies to leading worship and connecting with children and teens, they got a firsthand glimpse of what it means to be part of God’s global Church.

Read how God is transforming two young women from students into servants, and how one mission trip opened the door to even more possibilities for the future.

Sometimes God gives us a glimpse of what He’s been doing all along. ❤️

At Angaza Camp in Kenya, CMF missionaries Keith and Kathy Ham experienced an unexpected full-circle moment when they met a group of sixth-grade girls from the Turkana village where they began their ministry decades ago.

What they discovered about these girls and their families brought them to tears and offered a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness across generations.

This summer, 37 Reach interns stepped into new cultures, new relationships, and new opportunities to see God at work around the world.

From Tanzania and Poland to the launch of our first-ever EuReach internship in Uruguay, students spent the summer serving alongside local ministries while growing in their faith and understanding of God's heart for the nations.

As we celebrate 35 years of Reach, we're excited to invite a new generation of students to discover God's global mission.

For Dr. Suzie Snyder, serving in Kenya is more than a short-term mission trip. It's a return to a community she has loved for decades.

Recently, Suzie joined a FAME ( ) medical team serving alongside Community Health Partners, the Kenyan-led healthcare ministry that grew out of CMF's historic medical work among the Maasai. From caring for expectant mothers to providing vaccines and sharing the hope of Christ, the team witnessed God's faithfulness through long-standing relationships and local leadership.

Life on the mission field in Africa wouldn't be complete without the occasional flat tire. For CMF missionaries Chandler Ospina, Oksana Specht, and Tyler King, this one came after a four-hour journey down bumpy, muddy roads to one of our newest church plants in Sedal, Ethiopia.

The trip was well worth it. They celebrated nine baptisms and visited a church where God has been moving in amazing ways. In just two years since it was planted, the congregation has grown to more than 200 people!

Eight churches. One worship service. One powerful reminder that the Church is bigger than any one community, culture, or country.

The video captures a recent gathering attended by members of Hazelwood Christian Church, a congregation that has faithfully partnered with CMF ministries in Tanzania for more than 15 years.

Through child sponsorship, discipleship, ministry trips, and lasting friendships, this Indiana church has helped transform lives while being transformed themselves.

Discover the story behind the partnership. Read it on our blog today at cmfi.org/blog!
