Indianapolis, Black Expo Summer Celebration!!! We had a BALL!! Community Engagement, education, and signing-up our community members, that’s ready to take action, and be apart of something, that’s BIGGER THAN SELF!!
Violence Prevention, Conflict Resolution, and De-escalation, along with the importance of one vote, (your vote), community safety, prevention, and accountability lead our conversations, as we brain stormed our next steps, in bringing our community together.
And , ole yea we CELEBRATED, because we came to far not to.
Toby Miller, President of the Indianapolis Chapter Black Expo, has lead us into a conversation that has motivated , and strengthened the “ Power of one individual. And, YES! As an individual you make a difference.

Mike Epp’s weekend, has been a very impactful experience. I’ve had an opportunity to speak with our Youth (at-risk) and leadership, as well as, some of our most prominent community leaders.
Special thanks to Curtis M. Baker (Deacon Baker/Uncle Curtis to, and through our communities), your knowledge, wisdom, and influence within our communities are greatly appreciated. Violence Prevention, is near and dear to your heart, as you furthered this conversation at our Youth Violence Prevention, station giving a great contribution to community solutions. As well as, friends, family and community members that invested their contributions into our on going commitment to Alternative’s to Violence.

Special thanks to all of our community youth that shared their input, (our brain storm)and their initiatives in building a safer and stronger community. July 11th , Peer Conflict Resolution Conference. Special thanks to Children Policy and Law Initiative (CPLI) for inviting me to run two Violence Prevention, Conflict Resolution, and De-escalation workshops. Thanks to everyone who made this conference possible, and my classroom participants for making this a wonderful, fun, and engaging experience.
