Our neighbors in Ravenswood have been working hard to recover from the damage. Volunteers are needed daily at Riverwood Park starting at 10:30am, and monetary donations can be made through the link in bio (https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-ravenswood-rebuild-after-devastating-flooding)

‼️DISASTER RELIEF FUND DRIVE‼️

We are collecting donations both monetary and physical aid items to support our neighboring cities, Gary, Muncie, and Anderson. Currently within our own county, many places are also seeing the affects of the rising floods and storm damage. Our city leaders do not have the answers or the correct systems in place to appropriately deal with emergency responses so the people are stepping in.

You can make a monetary donation through our Zeffy link located in our bio. You can also donate physical aid items to the Indy Liberation Center, Thursday-Sunday 12pm-6pm.

We will be posting more updates soon regarding how you can continue to help your neighbors and community during this time.

Join organizers and volunteers this Black August at Indianapolis Liberation Center to help us assemble Hope Packages, hear organizers honor political prisoners, and learn more about how current systems in place fuel the carceral system and perpetual homelessness- instead of proper resources, support, and housing.

This Saturday Indy Hope Packages will be at Lugar Plaza to distribute our Hope Packages. In addition to this, we will be handing out informational flyers about the current encampment ban taking over the city. Find us on Saturday at 12pm and take part in a direct action struggling for and with the people together.

Lugar Plaza still belongs to the people. This Saturday, meet us briefly at the Indianapolis Liberation Center before we carpool down to Lugar Plaza to distribute the much-needed aid contained in the Hope Packages and build solidarity with our homeless and most vulnerable neighbors.

Our community really showed out this month for our collaboration with The Whispering Shelf! We've got the shelves stuffed and Hope Packages ready to assemble and distribute. Come through the Indianapolis Liberation Center tomorrow at 1 to build community, discuss violence against women and how to fight it, and assemble and/or directly distribute our political aid!
