National FFA Office: a year defined by service and sacrifice, but more importantly, by friendship, commitment, and endless learning… oh how I’ve learned so much from you all!

To each member, teacher, school administrator, stakeholder, mentor, family member, alumni supporter, flight attendant, pilot, Uber driver, airport janitor—everyone I had the privilege of meeting along the way: thank you. Thank you for sharing your story, for connecting with me, and for offering smiles and unspoken encouragement that made all the difference. Each of you left an imprint on this blank FFA jacket. Now, it’s anything but blank; it’s covered with names and faces of those who I’ve had the true honor of meeting on my travels. You all have impacted me.

Going forward, the organization is in good hands! I’m excited to see what the future holds.

Always consider me a friend. See you around!

One month from today, I’ll hang up this FFA jacket for the final time. One month from today, we’ll close out a week filled with celebration, memories, and learning in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This past year serving as a National FFA Officer has taught me more than I can write in this caption. But what I do know is this: every lesson I’ve learned has come from the people I’ve met—people like you.

I’m constantly in awe of how genuine, human connection brings true meaning to life. Our connections this year have added so much meaning to my life.

This jacket may be blank, but it carries the weight of every interaction, every conversation, and every experience we’ve shared.

I’m beyond grateful to be part of this journey with you all. Here’s to the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo!

Officially wrapped up travel as a National FFA Officer in Area III with Missouri FFA members!

A week of chapter visits, connecting with members on the local level reminded me of how my journey started in the blue jacket. I was once a student who sat in the back of an agriculture education class, and I had FFA advisors who saw something in me that I didn’t see. I remain so grateful for the humble beginnings that have led to this incredible ending of my FFA journey. The lessons learned, people met and memories gained, will always be held close to my heart!

Here is to fruitful convention preparation as we get ready celebrate you all in Indianapolis in just a few weeks!!

Just wrapped up an incredible visit to Cargill!

We had great conversations about the future workforce in agriculture, and it’s exciting to see the commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.

Huge thanks to the Cargill team for the warm welcome and for sharing their knowledge with us!

How will we advocate?

A question we were asked a lot during State Officer Summit. And after a fulfilling week, with nearly 300 strong advocates, I realize advocacy can look a lot of different ways!

To advocate we can:
- talk
- write
- post
- listen
- learn
- and use our experiences to tell stories others can relate to!

I’m so grateful to have spent a week with people who care so much about the industry that feed, fuels, and clothes us.

The future is bright because we are led by these leaders!

Louisiana Area IV !!

We spent three days at camp in Louisiana having the best time together.

Highlights include:
- awesome leadership workshops
- an intense slip & slide
- learning how to jig (these students are the best dance teachers)
- adapting to the Louisiana heat, I must say, you all are strong to withstand that!
- and lastly, making memories that will be remembered for a long time.

Thank you for welcoming me in and making me feel right at home. I will always cherish your hospitality 🥰☀️
