Last week we hosted over 700 high school students and educators from central Indiana at Construction Zone Building Trades Expo 2026. 25 of our union trade and contracting partners showed up with hands-on activities and prepared to talk with students about WHAT'S NEXT for them after graduation and why Indiana's Union Construction Industry offers career opportunities for professional growth and personal success!

We welcomed 65 new apprentices at Work Ready Orientation this morning! We're excited for them to stand alongside their brothers and sisters at their first union meeting next week to officially join the ranks of Local 481.

Operating Engineers train and place highly-skilled men and women into rewarding careers. Interns work on real projects that improve the quality of the air we breathe and waterways on which we depend. Bowen believes in continuous improvement and growing people. We recruit from 25 different universities and have hired 51 interns to be full-time employees in the last 5 years. We want our internship to lead you to your next opportunity with us!
