What a great event!
Bourbon and Bites at Courses Restaurant at Ivy Tech is a one-of-a-kind event hosted by the School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management at Ivy Tech.

Featuring the Social Pour, a tasting experience with small bites produced by students in the Garde Manger Class and the Curated Reserve, featuring the students of the Classical Cuisines Class and the Catering Class.

Proceeds go to the student enrichment fund allowing students to experience all that the city has to offer and to travel the world!

Congrats, Chef Preston!
After a season of elite culinary competition and a dramatic two-day finale in Northwest Arkansas, the World Food Championships (WFC) has officially crowned Chef Preston Nguyen of Arlington, Texas, as the 13th World Food Champion!
Held at Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food in Bentonville, Arkansas, the Final Table presented by Sam’s Club brought together ten category champions from the 2025–26 World Food Championships season. Over the course of three demanding culinary challenges, the finalists competed for the sport’s ultimate prize; $100,000 and the coveted title of World Food Champion!

Great news for the Indy dining scene and the whole Great Lakes region! Michelin will release its first ever Great Lakes guide next year. Those anonymous inspectors are already out in the field — wonder which restaurants will earn a star (or two)?? Even a Bib Gourmand rating would be awesome!
