It may be cold in Indy, but thinking about those summer days still.. ☀️😎. visited this past summer and partnered with a great set of teammates to make a difference and learn about the community. “The Ronald McDonald House is a welcoming and cost-friendly place for families to stay while their child is going through sickness or surgery, treatments or something that may require a long stay in the hospital. The house provides meals, entertainment and support to keep the family’s spirits high as their child or sibling is going through a difficult time. It was awesome getting to experience the “community” that the house creates for families staying there, no matter the length of their stay. I enjoyed getting to talk with some of the volunteers and families at the house, who are all going through such different and uncertain times, but all have the same peace of mind knowing that they have a safe and reliable place to call home at the end of the day.”
