April 19-25 is National Volunteer Week 2026. During this week, we celebrate the contribution made by all of our volunteers, and indeed there is a lot to celebrate. It would be impossible for us to serve 5,500+ neighbors a month without all of you. Since last July when we began using our new volunteer sign-up system, 1,187 people have created accounts to volunteer at Crooked Creek Food Pantry for a total of 14,520 hours. And that doesn't even include our many drivers! Many volunteers come every week, some more than once a week. But whether you come every week, every month, or only occasionally, you are appreciated.

There will be treats in the kitchen all week when you check-in provided by the Board. Enjoy and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Calling all CCFP Volunteers!! If you typically volunteer for one month at a time, SURPRISE, it is March already! Can you believe it? In looking at this weeks sign-ups, it appears that most shifts are short and some shifts are very short!! Happy 11th Anniversary Crooked Creek Food Pantry! Due to the vision of our 4 founding partners, we are now serving 5,500+ neighbors a month. On February 11, 2015, our first day of operation, we served just 4 neighbors. Last Wednesday, we broke yet another daily record, serving 610 neighbors!

Since our founding, many individuals and organizations have joined us in our mission to reduce food insecurity in Indianapolis. Thanks to all who provide us with the Food, Funds and Feet to operate! We couldn't do it without you.
