Jayla Elkins, 3: Remembered Among Eight Angels Lost in Shreveport |

🕊️Jayla Elkins, 3, of Shreveport, Louisiana, was a precious little girl whose life ended tragically on April 19, 2026, in the Cedar Grove neighborhood.
Jayla was one of eight children—ages 3 to 11—whose lives were lost that morning. She is remembered not for how she died, but for who she was: a curious 3-year-old with a bright spirit, innocent wonder, and a lifetime of firsts ahead of her.

Two women, their mothers, were also injured and are receiving care. Their healing and privacy are paramount.
