Fall means swimming at George Washington High School!

The Riviera Club Foundation worked with two classes of these awesome high schoolers. Through a series of swim lessons and dry land water safety presentations, RCF helped them develop swim skills and decrease their chances of losing their lives in a body of water.

Nothing beats providing life-saving skills to amazing kids.
We are proud of our partnership with Indianapolis Public Schools!

Some kids grow up with a pool in the backyard. Some grow up two blocks from water they were never taught to swim in.

When Everyone Swims is about that gap — and the people closing it.

This summer, kids who had never put their face in the water learned to swim at the Rivi.

On Thursday, September 3, we are showing the film that explains why that matters.

The Riviera Club Foundation presents When Everyone Swims, in partnership with the Kiwanis Foundation of Indianapolis and Heartland Film.

Swim at 4:30 p.m. for Foundation guests. Screening at 6:00 p.m.

Back-school-essay: What did you do this summer?

Wowza.

The Riviera Club Foundation reached more than 250 children this summer thru water safety talks, activities in the community garden and swim instruction in the glorious The Riviera Club pool.

Lives were changed -- including ours.

Thank you to our amazing community partners -- Freewheelin' Community Bikes, SHEroes, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, Christel House Academy West, Christel House Indianapolis -- along with The Riviera Club and Indy Summer Youth Programs.

So in conclusion, it was a really, really good summer.

Freewheelin' Community Bikes wheeled their way into our chlorinated hearts last week at The Riviera Club!

We had lessons in the pool, slippery trips down the slides, jumps off the boards, and -- in the community garden -- lunches, a talk from a master gardener and an activity. (Thank you, Lilly Endowment, Inc., Indy Summer Youth Programsand Meridian Kessler Neighborhood Association (MKNA)!)

Don't ever end, summertime!
