The final visits on the road…

From Foundation visits with John Deere, Tyson, NAU Country, and Walmart, to chapter visits at the Clay County Fair and Chapter Officer Summit in Glenrock, Wyoming, these last few stops have been a pretty special way to close out the road!

“You don’t realize you’re making memories until you’re already looking back on them.” And somewhere between the first visit and the last, the road became a collection of people and places I’ll carry with me long after the miles are gone.

Now, it’s time to trade the road miles for convention prep. See you in Indianapolis soon!

During Summit 2026, we lived más!

What started with Taco Bell decorations, sauce packets, and plenty of laughs became so much more. Between the conversations, monument walks, Arlington National Cemetery, and late-night debriefs, “Live Más” became a challenge to lead with greater purpose, courage, and intention.

One moment kept bringing us back to the same question: What is your cornerstone?

A building is only as strong as its foundation. Leadership is no different. For me, that cornerstone is faith. It’s what keeps me grounded when circumstances change, reminds me who I am beyond a title, and gives me direction when the next step isn’t obvious. We all need a foundation that keeps us steady, because leadership isn’t built in one week. It grows through quiet moments, difficult conversations, a willingness to listen, and the courage to step forward when someone else needs you.

To every 2026 State Officer: thank you for strengthening my faith in the next generation of leaders and agriculturists! Thank you for showing up with open minds, authentic hearts, and a desire to grow. Watching you connect with one another and embrace this experience was incredibly encouraging! I can’t wait to watch each of you lead, serve, advocate, and, of course... Live Más!

Time has a funny way of reminding you that it’s not the hours, but the people, that matter most. Eighteen hours was all it took. Texas FFA’s theme this year was “Feels Like Home,” and after meeting incredible members, exploring the career expo, and spending time with the Texas FFA Ambassadors, I’d say they got it exactly right!

This trip also marked the end of convention season! The last six months have been filled with unforgettable people, meaningful conversations, and countless reminders of how much there is to be grateful for. I couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful way to close out this chapter!

“Unforgettable memories” isn’t just a tagline. It perfectly describes this week!

Water games, campfires, high ropes, kayaking, pickleball, archery, axe throwing, late night adventures, skits, and polar plunges morning, day, and night, all while quite literally surviving Adventure Valley and Chicken Nugget Day. Every activity was a blast, but the people made this week unforgettable.

So thankful for the sweetest Ohio FFA members and a week at the happiest place on dirt!

North Carolina, thanks for the reminder that the best part of FFA has always been the people!

From the Student Engagement booth and workshops to the Hawaiian themed dance and late night Canes runs, every conversation reminded me there’s a reason our paths cross. Grateful for the memories and the people who made them!

“We are…” Penn State!

From clipping people every chance we got to late night socials and line dances, this week was packed with moments that made me smile! Somewhere between the workshops that turned into Jeopardy games and the conversations in the hallways, Pennsylvania FFA members reminded me why this organization is so special. Grateful for the memories, the laughter, and the people who made this convention one to remember!

North Dakota, you were a good one!

Somewhere between a midnight Sonic run through Fargo, an intense game of spoons with chapter members, and a few workshops filled with great conversations, this convention became one I won’t forget. Grateful for the chance to spend a few days at NDSU learning, laughing, and meeting some genuinely kind people!

New Jersey, you may be small but you sure know how to bring the hype! So grateful for the small conversations, meaningful connections, and sweet moments shared for a few days at Monmouth University! From packed workshops to late-night laughs, this convention reminded me that impact isn’t measured by size, it’s measured by people.

Maine’s FFA Convention in Presque Isle was full of side quests, good connections, and unforgettable memories! With 10 different states represented, the week was full of great conversations and fun bus rides. Grateful for every late night laugh, random adventure, and new friendships that came from this week!
