Before CheckIt4Andretti was a foundation, it was a hashtag with a purpose. 💙

After keeping his cancer diagnosis largely out of the public eye, John was encouraged by his friend Dave Calabro to share his story in hopes it could help raise awareness and encourage others to get screened.

After thinking it through, John agreed — choosing to turn his own experience into something that could help others. 🏁

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who came together to support this year’s 500 Breakfast Club Golf Outing. 💙

Because of your generosity, $11,810 was raised for CheckIt4Andretti — helping us continue providing lifesaving colon cancer screenings to those who need them.

Every golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and supporter played a part in making this possible. We are so thankful for the continued support of our mission and for everyone who helps us keep John’s message moving forward. 🏁

What a day! ⛳️💙 The 5th Annual 500 Breakfast Club Golf Outing benefiting CheckIt4Andretti was the biggest yet, with 152 golfers hitting the course! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

It was a beautiful day from start to finish, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to play, sponsor, volunteer, and support the event.

A huge thank you to the 500 Breakfast Club for once again choosing to support CheckIt4Andretti and our mission to help provide lifesaving colon cancer screenings. We’re incredibly grateful for their continued generosity and for everyone who helped make this year’s outing such a success. 🏁💙

Edison Hamann, Director of The CheckIt4Andretti Foundation and Managing Member of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, was a great friend of John Andretti. 💙

So when Nancy and her family decided to carry John’s mission forward through the Foundation and asked Eddie to be part of it, his answer was simple: of course.

🏎️💨 From there, Eddie began thinking about how Andretti Indoor Karting & Games could help turn that mission into something even bigger. One of his first ideas was the Round Up campaign - giving millions of guests across Andretti locations the opportunity to add just a little to their purchase and help fund lifesaving colon cancer screenings. 🙌

Today, that support is doing exactly what John hoped it would do: helping people, saving lives, and keeping his message moving forward.

And as Eddie says, “John, your name is still well and alive here.” 🏁💙
