Good luck to all CREA Scholars as you head into finals this week and next! We’re cheering you on as you put the finishing touches on another year of your college journey and reflect on all the hard work it took to get here. Your commitment and effort continue to inspire us.

We had the chance to reconnect with our IU Indianapolis Scholars at a year end dinner, and it couldn’t have come at a more exciting and meaningful time.

As graduation approaches next month, we are proudly celebrating the first graduating class of the CREA Foundation. This milestone brings our mission full circle by supporting scholars throughout their journey and celebrating their achievements as they prepare for what comes next.

This month marks five years since the launch of the CREA Foundation. What began as a simple mission to open doors for students and create opportunities for those living in affordable housing communities has grown into something truly impactful.

Since then, we have funded 38 scholarships with three incredible universities: IU Indianapolis, California State University, Northridge, and UConn.

Through the collective support of our investors, developers, business partners, and employees, we have awarded more than $700,000 in scholarships, hosted two Scholarship Golf Classic events, and provided CREA Scholars with mentorship, internships, and unforgettable experiences.

Our IUI scholars are entering their senior year, while CSUN and UConn scholars are beginning their junior year, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys.

And we are just getting started. With a new collegiate partner on the horizon for 2027, and our next cohort of ten students at IUI in the fall of 2026, the next chapter promises even more impact. Throughout the past school year, Alex has shown a strong commitment to learning, growing, and making an impact in the affordable housing industry. Angelina Zuniga Kramer is a first-generation college student and CREA Scholar at California State University, Northridge, driven to attain her post-secondary degree successfully. With the support of the CREA Scholars program, Angelina has been able to establish living on campus, secure technologies to support her schoolwork, and improve her academic life.

🎓 Meet Carolina Gonzalez, the former CREA Scholars Coordinator! 🎓

Carolina recently graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from IUPUI and is on her way to UTEP - The University of Texas at El Paso to pursue a Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Recently, the CREA Scholars wrapped up their school year with a celebratory dinner. These impressive students, all with an average GPA of 3.0+, will be entering their junior year at Indiana University Indianapolis next year.

Their academic success and persistence are a testament to the incredible support from their campus community, Educational Equity Programs, and the CREA Scholars Program at IUI.

We are so proud of Carolina and our scholars for their hard work and dedication!
