BB’s Home Away From Home Adult Day Center INC hasn’t checked into social media in awhile but we are still growing & glowing! Our director is heading out to extend her love and admiration for the senior community down in Florida!! Very exciting. We had so much fun In May. We had outings, we had a Mother’s Day talent show and had our first BBQ of the year to celebrate May birthdays. May is super special because BB’s inspiration (Nannie and papa) were both born in May.

Today was extra special. We celebrated our beloved Ms Vickie for her birthday. And we had a couple people come for a trial day & decided they wanted to join our family. BB’s Home Away From Home Adult Day Center INC is growing and we are so excited 💜

Over the weekend, BB’s Home Away From Home Adult Day Center INC attended its first stand-alone event. This hits different. For years, the day center was in the shadow of the home care agency but now it stands on its own. With all the negative and corrupt things going on in the senior care world, I’m just blessed to be able to provide a service deeply rooted in love & passion.

Today is the day they have been saving for!!! The BB’s Store is OPEN.

The BB’s Store is a makeshift store that we do only at BB’s Home Away From Home Adult Day Center INC. Our clients earn BB Bucks for various reasons like participating in activities, lending a helping hand to their peers and more.

The history behind this store is as a child, my Nannie loved to shop. We would go to Walmart all the time and I would watch my girl have to put things that you desperately wanted and needed back because of her fixed income. That broke my heart so I literally go shopping every month and buy household items, fun decor, gift cards and more so that our seniors can enjoy the things that want and need to without it posing a financial burden.

Not only do we get you safely to & from the center but we also, go on several monthly outings & we take our clients to and from doctors appointments.

We do provide stand alone transportation services. If you are on the Medicaid waiver and need reliable transportation, add us to your service plan & we are happy to assist. **We have wheel chair accessible vehicles!!!**

And of course, we are still enrolling at BB’s Home Away From Home Adult Day Center INC so set up a tour and join our family 💜

For Easter, BB’s Home Away From Home Adult Day Center INC had a family lunch pitch in & wore Demin. We had a fun DIY project for the week that included making fun, demin ties that we wore to our pitch in.

BB’s Home Away From Home Adult Day Center INC is having its first fundraiser of the year. We need your support so that we can continue to touch the lives of more seniors.

This FUNdraiser is going to be one for the books. Our seniors love putting on a good show!!!
