Exciting things are happening with the Jr.-Sr. Mat Club, and we're looking for parents who want to help shape the future of our wrestling program!

Join us on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the High School LGI (enter through the Lower Commons doors).

This isn't just another meeting—we'll be unveiling a new vision and board structure designed to strengthen and grow our program. We need fresh ideas, new faces, and parents who are willing to help make a difference.

•Building community support
•Tournament operations and technology
•Team gear and equipment

Or simply finding ways to help our wrestlers succeed...There's a place for you!

We will be having a booster meeting next Wednesday, July 15th at 7:00 at the high school LGI room. The meeting will include review of the bylaws and nominations/election of board members. Congratulations to David McElravy former IHS Wrestling graduate of 2019. He competed over this past weekend in Bossier City Louisiana at the Brookshire Grocery Arena the 2026 NCWA wrestling championships. David won the 235 lbs weight class, and finishing his senior season undefeated 15-0. He is the first wrestler in his program history (Apprentise School) to be undefeated an entire season, and also winning 4 time All American in four different weight classes. Weight classes include: 174, 184, 197, and 235. Congratulations David!

Indiana Wrestling's end of the year party officially comes to a close this weekend. Keystone State qualifiers were held Monday night in snowy Johnstown and the Lil Indians secured two spots the big show in State College. Congratulations to Jonah
McKendrick and Dean Hart on battling through a tough tournament. Great job!
