Tomorrow, we'll continue our journey through 1 Kings with a message entitled “THE LIES THAT BREAK US: The Dangerous Things We Convince Ourselves Are True” (1 Kings 12–14). Have you ever been absolutely convinced you were right, only to discover just how wrong you were? Sometimes the most dangerous lies are the ones we tell ourselves. This week, we'll look at three lies that led two kings to make disastrous decisions—and discover how those same lies can affect our lives today. Read I Kings 12-14 in preparation. Today, we will continue our current teaching series in 1 Kings with a message from chapters 9–11 titled THE SLOW DRIFT. We will look at how Solomon’s heart did not turn away from God all at once, but through a gradual pattern of neglected warnings, moved boundaries, and divided loyalties. It is a timely reminder that we can be moving away from God long before we realize how far we have gone—and an invitation to ask, “Am I still moving toward Him, or have I started to drift?” Read chapters 9-11 in preparation. I’m looking forward to being together! See you at 10:00 AM!

Tomorrow, we continue our journey through 1 Kings as Solomon completes one of the greatest building projects in Israel’s history—the Temple of the Lord. But as magnificent as the Temple was, the most incredible moment came when God’s presence filled the house and changed everything. We'll discover what Solomon’s Temple teaches us about the difference between simply being around the things of Jesus and actually walking in His presence—and what it means that, through Him, God has made His dwelling in us. This week’s message is entitled, “WHEN GOD MOVES IN: Nothing Stays the Same.” Read I Kings 5-8 in preparation. We worship at 10 am.
