Porter Ridge Athletic Association ("PRAA") currently includes over 1500 families in the western Union County areas from the Hemby Bridge, Indian Trail, Stallings, Lake Park, Monroe, and surrounding communities providing baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, and cheerleading to kids ages 4-16. We are a not for profit organization and comprise our administrative board, coaching staff, and support personnel of member volunteers to ensure the kids have a great experience learning, exercising, and socializing both individual and team participation skills, all while having fun!

Ready to play ball? Join the fun this fall with PRAA Baseball! Open to ages 4–12, our league is focused on fun, skill development, teamwork, and encouragement in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

📅 Important Dates:
✅ July 1 – Registration Opens
🗓️ Aug. 1 – Registration Closes
⚾ Aug. 8 – Player Assessments (Older Divisions)
👥 Week of Aug. 17 – Teams Formed
🏃 Practices Begin Soon After
🎉 Games Start Around Labor Day

We’re excited to share that Dick’s Sporting Goods will be hosting a special Fall Shop Event Weekend for PRAA Soccer from Friday, August 22 through Sunday, August 25, 2025. This is a great opportunity to gear up for the fall season!

As you pick up new equipment, we ask that you consider donating your gently used cleats to support a meaningful cause. What’s old to your player could be a game-changer for someone else.

PRAA proudly partners with Harlem United Sports & Community Club, and each season we collect used cleats to donate to their youth players.

Drop-off Details:
A large collection box will be placed at the Hemby Bridge Snack Shack from August 9 through September 9. Simply drop off your old cleats anytime within that window during your sport's practices or games!

Let’s work together to ensure every child has the opportunity to play.
