Eva and Kevin Potts from Mary Carmel’s Lights: Great speaker, if you wear glasses 1 in 3 will develop this disease and most will be Charles Bonnet Syndrome.

Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) is a condition causing vivid, silent visual hallucinations in individuals experiencing significant vision loss, often due to eye diseases like macular degeneration. It is characterized by phantom images (patterns, people, or places) that appear when a person is conscious and aware the images are not real. It is not a mental illness or dementia.

Thursday, May 30th. Out guest speaker was Maureen Mulhall. She gave us a lil sample of what she does as Club Pilates in Indian Trail (next to Geico at Sun Valley). Gentle movement is better than no movement! Pilates helped her to be able to kneel with double knee replacements. Thank you Moe for getting us moving!

It is a nonprofit that empowers young adults to unlock their inner GIANT through growth, knowledge, community and service.
