All about me

Hey everybody my name is Charlie! I want to introduce myself and tell everyone a little about me. I am a male Indian runner duck and pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. I was rescued by Carolina waterfowl rescue, because I wasn’t getting the proper care I needed. I was such a happy duck finally!! I found myself a beautiful girlfriend named Lola and I became the educational ambassador for Carolina waterfowl rescue📷. shortly after I was rescued I started not to feel well. I was rushed to the vet for a check up. Sadly, we got the news I had a tumor in my testicle. I had to have emergency surgery to have an implant placed inside to help suppress my tumor. This helped my tumor to shrink. I have to get my implant replaced yearly to make sure my tumor keeps shrinking. I was finally starting to feel like my old self again, then not once but TWICE last year my intestines pr*****ed. I had surgery both times to get this fixed and picked up some hefty medical bills. I started to feel like my old self again and then one day last year one of the volunteers noticed me not walking right. I was rushed to the vet once again and had a lot of tests done. I was even transferred to another vet , because I needed more test ran that the other vet couldn’t offer. After a couple of days we finally received some news we didn’t want to hear. I had lead poisoning📷I had to have many medical procedures done and lots of medication to quickly save my life. These new doctors saved my life just in time. I was in the hospital for awhile and then rehab. It took me almost 6 months to recover to my normal self. Since then I have been a happy and healthy duck. Some of my favorite foods are : Lettuce, fish, grapes, tomatoes, peppers, and eggs!
