πŸ‘• On Day 4 we celebrate 𝕆𝕦𝕣 ℍ𝕠𝕦𝕀𝕖 π•Šπ•™π•šπ•£π•₯𝕀! πŸ‘•

Poplin’s House System helps build school spirit, leadership, and community, and thanks to PTO support, every Poplin student receives a House T-shirt to wear during House meetings, celebrations, and special events throughout the year! Recently, we welcomed our newest students during Kindergarten House Sorting Day, where they discovered which House they will proudly represent. Each student receives one House shirt during their time at Poplin, and our kindergarten students will receive theirs when they enter first grade so they can start the school year ready to show their House pride! πŸ’šβ€οΈπŸ’™πŸ–€

Poplin PTO loves to gather! Whether it was a dance, Family Game Night, Lip Sync Battle, Checkers Night, Hornets Night, Sweetheart Dance, or any of the many events throughout the year, we brought families together to laugh, connect, and make memories.

These events aren’t just about fun. They’re about building community, creating traditions, and giving our students and families opportunities to come together outside the classroom. We truly have the BEST Poplin community, and we are so grateful to celebrate with you all year long!

🎈On Day 6 we celebrate our π•Šπ•₯π•¦π••π•–π•Ÿπ•₯ π”Έπ•€π•€π•–π•žπ•“π•π•šπ•–π•€! 🎈

Poplin PTO was proud to fund TWO exciting assemblies this year for our students: the interactive Weird & Wacky Science Show and the Panthers β€œSack the Test” assembly that helped get our upper-grade students pumped up and ready to tackle their EOGs with confidence! πŸ§ͺ🏈

We also partnered with Duke Energy to bring a complimentary educational assembly to all Poplin students, creating even more opportunities for learning, engagement, and fun.

Students had an absolute BALL as colorful chalk filled the air and covered everyone in smiles from head to toe! This fun-filled event was packed with laughter, energy, and unforgettable memories for our Poplin families.

We are so grateful for our amazing volunteers who got down and dirty to make the magic happen, and so thankful for a community that continues to show up in BIG ways!
